Five extraordinary Rutgers University graduates were inducted into the university’s Hall of Distinguished Alumni on Thursday night.

The Rutgers Board of Governors have approved the Tortora Pato Family Endowed Legacy Professorship, created by a faculty couple at Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School and Rutgers New Jersey Medical School.
For nearly 30 years, Creighton Drury has used his basketball skills from his days as a Scarlet Knight to help young people overcome challenges and pursue their dreams, expanding opportunities for quality education, housing, careers, and beyond. He will be inducted into the Rutgers Hall of Distinguished Alumni on April 23.
